Moved into our first house

The reason why I've not updated my blog recently is that we moved into our first little house last month, and most of my sewing things are still in boxes. The picture above is the lovely view of vineyards from the front porch.

The only sewing I've done recently is make some kitchen cotton voile curtains (below). I sewed some crocheted lace to make it look more cottage-y.
I've also started making some curtains for the living room. It was quite challenging to finally decided on something since one has to look at it daily for a long time.
I finally (after at least 4 hours of perusing) decided on this chintzy pattern. Hopefully we won't get too bored with it anytime soon.

Congratulations to your first house. That's so exiting! It seems you had and are having a very busy time. Your kitchen curtains look lovely, did you crochet the lace yourself too? Good choice of fabric for your living room. Enjoy Christmas time in your new home.

Congratulations! First home is so exciting. Full of possibilities of a blank canvas.
The curtains are fresh and welcoming. Not boring at all in my opinion. :)
