Shirt stripe-boxes quilt top finished!

I finished my shirt-stripe boxes quilt this morning (its about time!). Its been so hot here lately (about 35-40 degree C), I haven't felt much like doing anything energetic. I'm busy thinking about my next quilt... I want to try star blocks and some sunny colours.
I also finished the Botanika throw pillows with black piping for the sofa. I think it looks fresh!

Your top looks gorgeous! Once quilted it is going to be even prettier!
Those pillows do look fresh. Nice texture and pattern contrast to the quilt top.
Looking forward to your star quilt!

Beautiful!! Congratulations. I love the red spots that move your eye around the quilt.

It turned out superb and has me guessing as to how you put your squares together. Lovely. Your cushions are invitingly cosy too. Love the floral. I must say I really love bright colours.

I've made a shirt box quilt too!!! They're so effective. Mine was all in blue and whites, I'd love to make a bright stripey one one day.. Your colours are fabulous, I love the bit of burgandy popping throughout.

The pattern comes from Kaffe Fassett's book "Passionate Patchwork"
